Inspired by the artificiality of Pop art alongside the devotional detail of Islamic art, I sew together points of inspiration derived from memory, travel, nature, and the detritus of a lived life. The dynamic push-and-pull between humans and nature, the ability of an inconsequential object to serve as a memory repository, and the “butterfly effect” where a single choice affects the rest of our lives all find space in my work.

I am a Wyoming native now living in Denver, Colorado. I taught college-level two-dimensional art/design, Painting, Drawing, Color Theory, and Art History for two decades in Idaho and Wyoming. I am an avid traveler, an animal lover, and a live music fan, with special affection for Spain, cats, and Pearl Jam.
